Playrix is supposedly going to bring back the Regatta Task Counter. However it was not included in the 9.8.0 Update. You could try clearing cache. Try closing conflicting Apps and background processes. Township requires lots of storage. Each Update adds to the requirements. Unfortunately required to do Updates or it won’t allow you to continue
